In June 2016 the Music faculty recommended closing the Music Library and relocating portions of the collection to Memorial Library. After discussion, the proposal was approved. Scores and some books were relocated to Memorial Library. Other materials were disposed of by the department, which included the purchase by an alumnus of the LP and CD collections.
