Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service Berry College students, faculty and staff can use to submit requests for materials not held in our library. The ILL office is part of a national (and sometimes international) resource sharing network which enables libraries of all sizes and types to borrow and lend items to each other on behalf of their individual users.
Submit your request and we’ll process it as quickly as possible, forwarding it to a series of potential lending libraries. The first library able to loan us the item you’ve requested responds and ships it to Memorial Library. Once it arrives, our ILL team will let you know that it is available for pick up.
Please note that lending institutions set all due dates and renewal policies as noted on each item.
In the case that items are lost or damaged by our patrons, the Interlibrary Loan office reserves the right to charge for replacement of the item.
When you come to Berry as a student, faculty or staff member, you will automatically be setup for an ILL account through the library. Your ILL account is accessible from the library website:
