As of 2:39 PM, on June 25th, 2020 the issue regarding the SSL Certificate has been corrected. Thank you for your patience during this situation.
It was discovered today, June 25th, 2020 that the SSL Certificate for our proxy server had expired. The proper departments have been contacts and we are working on resolving this issue as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
When an SSL Certificate is expired or invalid, this causes a security issue warning to appear when clicking on any link that requires the user to go through the site that uses that certificate. However, upon passing through the warning, our resources appear to still be working fine.
Though it is generally risky to bypass a privacy warning, and while we are not necessarily suggesting that users bypass these kinds of warnings when they appear, it can be done the following ways --
To bypass the warning on Firefox:
- Click "Advanced..."
- Click "Accept the Risk and Continue"
To bypass the warning on Chrome:
- Click "Advanced"
- Click "Proceed to ucheck.berry.edu (unsafe)"
To bypass the warning on Edge:
- Click "Details"
- Click "Go on to the webpage (Not recommended)"
Please be aware that there can be a risk when bypassing these kinds of warnings, so use your best judgment.
