To create an account:
The Chronicle publishes a number of e-newsletters, all of which are free, including Academe Today, the daily report on the latest events in higher education. There are also free newsletters on technology, community colleges, and hiring. The Chronicle Review e-mail newsletter focuses on ideas, rather than news. Once you create a free Chronicle account you will be able to manage your email settings online.
Does the Chronicle digital edition provide access to all of the content in the print version?
Yes, except for the job listings which stay up for 30 days per each insertion order. The Chronicle prints and mails every Friday. All the text from that issue is posted online the next Monday morning. The Web site is updated 5 times a week each morning.
How complete are the archives?
When the current issue is posted online, it becomes part of a searchable archive of back issues that begins with 2015. When you search the Chronicle site, content from issues from 1989 forward will be included in your search results.
