The library is a popular hub for students whether they are grabbing coffee, hanging out, or studying in the space. We invite you to capitalize on the popularity of our space by partnering with the library for workshops tailored to a topic that you would like students to know more about. If there is a specific topic related to information literacy or critical thinking skills in your subject area that you feel the library can help inform, we would love to sit with you and plan a workshop for your students. Right now we offer research workshops that are general and applicable across disciplines. If you have a specific subject in your course assignments where a partnership could be beneficial to your students, we invite you to reach out!
This is also the chance to partner with our fellow student support services on more co-curricular learning opportunities.
We can also collaborate in the way where you just need the library to book the space, market your event, and help facilitate the workshop. If you have ideas, please email the Outreach and Engagement Librarian, Morgan Ritcher, at mritcher@berry.edu.
