On December 20, 1875, Sophia Fleetwood purchased 2 acres on O'Brien Gap Road, in the west corner of lot 158. In 1894 Sophia's husband Granville Fleetwood sold part of the two acres to their daughter-in-law Caroline "Carrie" Shropshire Fleetwood and her children by their son Washington "Wash" Fleetwood. Between 1910 and 1914, Caroline Fleetwood and Sophia Fleetwood's heirs sold full interest in the two acres of lot 158 to the Berry Schools. Deeds list Caroline and her children India King, Matilda McArver, Emma Miller, Lily Turner, Pearl Sturdivant and Washington Fleetwood, and Sophia's heirs Mary Jane Daniel, Matilda Espy, Barrymon Fleetwood, Henry Fleetwood, Howard Fleetwood, Will Fleetwood and Vina Gilbert.
