RUSA Guidelines

RUSA, the Reference and User Services division of the American Library Association, provides Standards, Guidelines, and Recommendations related to reference services, interlibrary loan, and accessibility. In particular, we assess reference services using RUSA's Professional Competencies for Reference and User Services Librarians, Guidelines for Behavioral Performance of Reference and Information Service Providers. and Measuring and Assessing Reference Services and Resources: A Guide.
