Nancy Benson Berry: Co-Chair Berry Family Reunion & Founder Angie’s Spa Cancer Foundation
Besides being the co-chair of the Berry Family Reunion, Nancy is the Founder and Executive Director of Angie’s Spa, a Cancer Foundation that funds FREE (in-hospital) massages and other complementary treatments to men and women undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. Although these treatments are typically not covered by insurance they have proven to help counteract side effects, alleviating stress and pain. Nancy and her small staff volunteer their time so that 100% of all donations go directly to the cancer patients. Currently funding six hospital programs throughout the country, Nancy hopes someday these free treatments will be available to cancer patients throughout the country.
